Bulgari acquires 100% of Crova


The Crova family will continue to be part of the Board of Directors of the company

Rome, December 31 2004 - Bulgari S.p.A. acquired today 100% of Crova S.p.A., the Italian company leader in the production of high-end jewellery of which Bulgari holds a 50% stake since December 2002 and following a relationship that has been lasting for more than 20 years.

The Crova family will continue to be part of the Board of Directors of the company.

Bulgari is one of the global players on the luxury market. In 2003 the Group posted a turnover of 759 million Euro, a net profit of 92 million Euro. With a market capitalization (as of 30.12.2004) of 2,693 million Euro, Bulgari relies on a distribution network of 190 stores in the most exclusive shopping areas in the world and on selected distributors. Bulgari has a product portfolio that ranges from jewels and watches to accessories and fragrances. The Group is controlled by the Bulgari family, holding about 52.0% of the share capital. The remaining 48.0% is floating on the Milan Stock Exchange.
